Project Overview

The construction of the new concrete Ted Skinner Bridge is one of the bridges to be constructed as a result of the Australia Day flooding in 2013.

Project Characteristics

The project will involve the construction of a 2 x 17m span concrete bridge complete with;

  • Demolition and Removal of the existing side track;
  • Bridge Site Preparation;
  • Cast in-situ concrete piles;
  • Concrete Abutment construction;
  • Supply and erection of Precast Concrete Deck Units;
  • Construction of a cast in-situ concrete deck and kerbs;
  • Supply and erection of bridge balustrade;
  • Minor approach earthworks and approach works.

Key Project Outcomes

To repair flood damaged infrastructure and return permanent access to properties for local residents.
